Where was your favorite place you traveled in 2017?

Boston! It was my first time exploring the city and you guys, they have some good art, eats, and neighborhoods for wandering. I'm looking forward to a return trip in the future. If you visit, shop at Olives & Grace, wander around Beacon Hill and the free art galleries at Harvard, and wait for a table at Toro (it's worth it).

What is your coffee order?

I'm typically a one-cup-a-day person. If I'm at a third wave coffee shop, I order a 12oz pour over; if I'm at Starbucks, I opt for a cappuccino. I think their beans are over-roasted so I like to mask the coffee a bit.

Where should we go if we want to see a well designed interior?

The Ambassador Hotel in Chicago always does it for me. Go for a weekend or just to get some work done in the public spaces – the textures, the's good.

List three things you always keep in your purse.

A CHC wallet, a Glo Minerals Suede Matte Crayon in the color Trademark, and I Buy Art buttons.

What Is a documentary we should watch?

Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict. Also, watch the entire Chef's Table series, and all episodes of Abstract on Netflix.

What would be in your ideal art collection?

This changes everyday! I'm currently eyeing a couple pieces from Peoria artist Allison Walsh, and think that might be my next purchase. One of my art pipe dreams is to own an Alexander Calder mobile.
